Summary of Qualifications and Experience

MBR Electric, Inc. is a minority-owned project management and electrical contractor based in Westminster, Colorado. The Firm has achieved a record of steady growth since 1986.

Since inception, MBR Electric has been awarded and successfully performed numerous commercial, institutional, light industrial and residential contracts throughout the Colorado. On the performance of these contracts, the Firm has demonstrated its ability to handle simultaneous efforts on the individual contract and corporate administration levels. MBR's staff has effectively planned and completed many of these projects ahead of schedule. The Company delivers projects as planned, to specifications, on time, and on budget.

MBR Electric’s most current projects include the installation of the fire alarm system at the new Denver Hyatt Hotel. The Hyatt a 38 story high-rise was completed on October 24, 2005. Other current projects include the special systems contract at the new Denver Convention Center. Special systems included the parking control system, cable tray system, AV system, and energy management system. The New Denver Convention Center allowed an expansion of over 1 million square feet addition to the existing convention center.

MBR's corporate experience also includes IDIQ job order contracts and numerous small to medium scale projects. MBR completed the Job Order Contract (JOC) contract at Buckley Air National Guard and performed more than 40 job orders as planned, to specifications, on time and budget. Many of the projects were design built by MBR Electric personnel. MBR's staff is knowledgeable in the use of the Pulsar Software system and all aspects of delivery order contracting and performance.

MBR performed on two large, multi-year maintenance contracts at the Denver International Airport to provide construction maintenance and operational support for the Airport's automated, state-of-the-art baggage system. In the face of significant engineering design flaws on a system that received national attention MBR Electrics maintenance crew made it work. The Firm prides itself in its ability to undertake and successfully perform on demanding projects. The DIA baggage system projects demonstrate the Firm's ability to provide long-term quality support on high-priority systems like the DIA baggage systems. The Firm excels on jobs that require a high level of precision and quick response.

Other projects include a project at Buckley ANG for the installation of a base wide fire alarm system. On the basis of its performance on this project, MBR was offered a sole-source five-year IDIQ job order contract at Buckley. Increasingly, delivery order contracting is a part of the Company's operations, and the Firm assembled an on-board staff with extensive experience in the management of job order contracts.

MBR has the ability to integrate and respond to the schedules, interfaces and demands of complex projects in a coordinated and responsive manner. The experience of the MBR team provides a strong capability to support new customer efforts.

From a design build perspective MBR Electric can include Coors Field, The Denver Mint Security System, IDIQ Job Orders a Buckley ANG, Whittier Affordable Housing Project and many of the Job Order Requests for Denver Housing.
